To the writers of EIN: Please write the real news regardless if it seems politically oriented or not. We need this in order to get a viewpoint from other people and to learn something that is just as valid as what we already know.

In reply to lorenzo. Your previous comment, Lorenzo, on the August 12th bulletin made as little sense as this one. My response now is identical to my response then: I am surprised that you have incorporated an article, political in nature, in today’s newspaper. This is new. Is it possible to avoid this in future or is it possible that you are so immune to the tragedy being played out in Gaza, that you don’t see it as such. We have political articles in every bulletin, Lorenzo, and don’t plan to change that – a lot of news is political. You didn’t say which one you objected to, or why.

We should have no difficulty with the subject matter when it is news. However, on the rare occasion, we get “Easy Italian Propaganda” and that’s when a red line is crossed. Even then I understand that the scribes are language journalists who sometimes can’t distinguish between the two. As a general guideline I would suggest that you avoid articles that record the views of the leaders of political parties. In every other respect I am grateful to the team and I derive much help with my Italian by reading your articles.
