Thanks for your feedback, Hilary. Slowing down the text would have the opposite effect from what is intended. This site is supposed to help you transition to ‘real’ media, which is of course, spoken at normal speed. We provide a transcript to help you INSTEAD OF an artificially slow reading of the text, which is these days very unusual in foreign language teaching and learning.
