In reply to Michael Nolan. another little quibble...she is in fact Elizabeth 11 of England, but Elizabeth 1 of the UK. Year zero was 1604, with the union of the crowns. James v1 of Scotland became James 1 of England. After the union of the crowns, we never had an Elizabeth1.(until now). It is said that Elizabeth insisted on the regnal title she uses and that Churchill concocted a convoluted argument to justify her stance.

Lovely EIN as always. Well done. Just a slight quibble – ‘la regina Elisabetta II d’Inghilterra is actually la regina di Gran Bretagna. We Scots are a wee bit sensitive about referring to the UK as England. Understandible though. Lamguage = English. Country = UK 🙂
