In reply to Hilary Temple. Sounds like you're a fairly advanced learner, Hilary, so have less need of text support. What you do is what we'd suggest for students who are further along with their Italian. For beginners and lower levels, reading and listening at the same time offers more support.

I look forward to Easy Italian News and read it at least four days a week. Sometimes I just listen and read, but I realised I learn more if I listen without reading, then read to see the words that I’ve failed to recognise. Then I listen again. That way I feel it is a better learning experience as well as being better informed about world news.

Just want to say how very much I appreciate Easy Italian News, how i feel it is helping to improve my listening & understanding skills, & what an essential supplement to my on line learning it has become. The benefit of any Russian or trumpian trolling has to be that you must be getting something right, if you’re upsetting them. So well done indeed & thank you.
