But if the story isn’t covered in the Italian media, it’s not likely they’ll pick it up for Tuesday’s edition. We’ll see. Il ciclone tropicale Alfred ha portato nel Queensland e nel Nuovo Galles del Sud settentrionale mari agitati, forti venti, piogge record, inondazioni estese. Milioni di persone ne sono colpite.. questo è molto importante per tutto il mondo sapere. Grazie

I listen and try to get the gist or at least a few words.
Then on the train I read quietly in Italian trying to understand more.
Third step is to read in English.
